New World, New Education
The Economist offers this interesting article about the changing face of jobs and the role of education in changing societies:
I don't buy it. The downturn showed how well the economy can function with fewer workers and increased efficiency. It does raise the question of how to distribute prosperity to the jobless hordes in possibly approaching age of free time.
